PJSP was pleased to attend the Integrity and Judicial Well-being conference in Nauru as an observer in July. The three-day conference culminated in the official adoption of the Nauru Declaration on Judicial Well-being, a 7-principle guide to supporting the occupational, physical, emotional, spiritual and cognitive well-being of judges and judicial officers across the globe.
The Declaration is the result of dedicated mahi by an international drafting team of around 20 judicial officers and UNODC members.
PJSP intends to use the Nauru Declaration to help inform its planning and work supporting strong judicial leadership and judicial well-being with its 15 pacific partner countries.
